In it, you will participate in a step-by-step framework for boosting self-image, building friendships, resisting peer pressure, achieving goals, improving communication with parents, and much more. The habits build upon each other and foster behavioral change and improvement from the inside out.

What is the One-Day Workshop About?
Using Sean Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, students are given a powerful overview of the 7 Habits® in their language. In the one-day workshop, students will learn the time-tested principles of the 7 Habits and how to apply them to the tough issues and life-changing decisions they face. Utilizing full student participation plus humor, anecdotes, videos, real-life scenarios, and relevant interactive exercises, students will laugh while they learn with a newfound belief in their own abilities.

Brenda Grays is a FranklinCovey Certified Facilitator in selected programs including: Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens (TeenCovey).
Currently, Grays is administrative coordinator for the National Emergency Respond and Rescue Training Center, (NERRTC), The Texas Engineering Extension Services (TEEX), The Texas A&M University System. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
A native of Austin, Texas, Grays has lived in the Brazos Valley for ten years with her husband, Lorenzo, and their cattle and two horses – Cocoa and Hershey. She has two daughters and is the proud grandmother of one boy and two girls. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), is an Aerobics instructor, and is a devoted church member serving in many auxiliaries of her church. Traveling with her husband (especially cruising the Mediterranean), Bunco with friends, and family are her favorite pastimes. Her motto: Life is Good. (She doesn’t take one day for granted.)
Cancellation
Participants are expected to complete their program of study. If for any reason, the participants are unable to fulfill their obligations, written notification must be submitted to the program director within 30 days of a scheduled module and/or class. A non-refundable cancellation fee will be assessed after payment due dates if written notification is not on file in the Continuing and Professional Studies Office, Division of Research and Graduate Studies at Texas A&M University.
If written notice is received thirty days before the scheduled program or event, participants will receive their fees minus a cancellation fee of 6% of the original fee. If notice is received less than thirty days prior to scheduled program or event, participants will receive their fees minus a cancellation fee of 15% of the original fee. Once a program or event has commenced, no refunds will be issued.
The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone its programs in the event of insufficient registrations, instructor illness, severe weather, or natural disaster. In the event of program cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately and all fees will be returned in full.
Payment
If a module/class payment is not received on scheduled due date, your registration will be subject to cancellation. In addition, a late fee will be assessed for all registrations past the scheduled due date for payment.
