Description

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People workshop is the anchor of the Synergy Solution from FranklinCovey. This two-day workshop experience provides the foundation to strengthen the human side of performance at the personal, managerial, and organizational levels. The 7 Habits seminar equips employees with the tools and skills to work at the highest levels of effectiveness, both with and through others. The seminar helps build stronger organizations by strengthening and exercising the character and competence of the individuals within them.

Brenda Grays is a FranklinCovey Certified Facilitator in selected programs including: Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens (TeenCovey).

Grays is administrative coordinator for the National Emergency Respond and Rescue Training Center, (NERRTC), The Texas Engineering Extension Services (TEEX), The Texas A&M University System. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

A native of Austin, Texas, Grays has lived in the Brazos Valley for ten years with her husband, Lorenzo, and their cattle and two horses – Cocoa and Hershey. She has two daughters and is the proud grandmother of one boy and two girls. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), is an Aerobics instructor, and is a devoted church member serving in many auxiliaries of her church. Traveling with her husband (especially cruising the Mediterranean), Bunco with friends, and family are her favorite pastimes. Her motto: Life is Good. (She doesn’t take one day for granted.)

Jan Richards is a FranklinCovey Certified Facilitator in select programs including: Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, FOCUS:Achieving Your Highest Priorities The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People for Managers, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective College Students. Richards has 20 years of teaching experience, which includes being certified in vocational education by the Texas Education Agency and she holds a certification as a United States Parachute Association skydiving instructor and jumpmaster. She received a business administration degree from Corpus Christi State University and a master in education from Texas A&M University. She has worked in higher education for over 20 years.

Richards is the assistant director of the Office of Distance Education at Texas A&M. She lives with her husband, Jimmy on the outskirts of College Station with four cats and a big dog named Tiki. The Richards enjoy going for long drives in their 1974 Triumph TR6s - one red and the other purple - which Jimmy restored himself. They both belong to the Brazos Brits Car Club. Jan also is an avid bird watcher, book club member, Bunco player and scrapbooker. She traded-in her clock for a compass over ten years ago.

Cancellation and Payment Policies


Cancellation

Participants are expected to complete their program of study. If for any reason, the participants are unable to fulfill their obligations, written notification must be submitted to the program director within 30 days of a scheduled module and/or class. A non-refundable cancellation fee will be assessed after payment due dates if written notification is not on file in the Continuing and Professional Studies Office, Division of Research and Graduate Studies at Texas A&M University.

If written notice is received thirty days before the scheduled program or event, participants will receive their fees minus a cancellation fee of 6% of the original fee. If notice is received less than thirty days prior to scheduled program or event, participants will receive their fees minus a cancellation fee of 15% of the original fee. Once a program or event has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone its programs in the event of insufficient registrations, instructor illness, severe weather, or natural disaster. In the event of program cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately and all fees will be returned in full.

 

Payment

If a module/class payment is not received on scheduled due date, your registration will be subject to cancellation. In addition, a late fee will be assessed for all registrations past the scheduled due date for payment.
